Hello! I’m a 27-year old dreamer named Christina. I fell in love with make-up, writing and photography because I can create whatever I wish. Onyx is a seven-year old black Siamese rescue (adopted at five years old). He’s only got three legs due to an operation as a kitten and has an intolerance for grains. He’s purrfect to us nonetheless. ❤

This weekend I really wanted to go out for a walk and enjoy the sunshine, not knowing I would not have the physic or the emotional energy to do so. How can something so simple be impossible to do at the moment I keep asking myself. How can these simple things I always used to do do difficult. For example having a panic attack in the metro. Why can't I just get dressed and go outside to enjoy the sun like everyone else is doing? I just don't seem to have any energy left during the weekends lately and I collapse into a mood of doing nothing or I have to clean the house and do laundry (and most of my plans just vanish into thin air because it's too much). I know I should be patient and try to rest and relax as often as I can, but somehow I can only feel overwhelmed or frustrated lately.. 😶 I cannot seem to be able to recharge again and I'm not kidding if I tell you that I cannot relax either. I've gone back into theraphy and my therapist got angry when I asked her to stop using the term burned out, because I don't even work 40-hours a week. 😅. I think I have been dancing around it for a year now and I seem to be getting worse instead of 'better'. I'm so, so grateful for my new colleagues understanding a lot of what's going on at the moment, but I cannot help trying to push myself over my limits on a weekly basis and regretting it when I have collapsed somewhere in the house. A burn-out sounds like hell, but a mixture of a burn-out with ADHD? Don't get me started.... 😓 . . . This was my rant for today. I, sadly, have to take a break from blogging and influencing.
